EDEXCEL Fine Art GCSE

Just looking for some general tips. Want an A* real bad. Also, how do I create good sketchbooks, I.e, what should they consist of? I also am confused to the importance of my final pieces? I'm in year 10 atm and am in the middle of my first big piece in the theme of "journeys" and chose the journey of generations in my family. Thanks! :smile:
