couldn't find a thread for these exams so...

anyone taking these exams (they are on the same day) feel free to ask questions, help, etc.
oh, and just to motivate myself to study:
- I will occasionally (try) and post notes for each topic (feel free to add to these so we can all benefit)

what are you using to revise?
what sort of questions do you think will come up (after examining past papers)
qwc ideas for this year?
and why is there only one past paper for p3 on the website (not including specimen)

Heya, I'm going to put this in the physics forum for you as you should get more responses there.

You should also check out the forum to see if there's any other threads there which might be helpful to you!

about a week to go...!!
heres some p3:
comparison between the eye and camera:
in the eye:
- converging lens with a variable focus.
- focus achieved by contraction of ciliary muscles.
- image focussed onto the retina
- brightness controlled by the iris and pupil

in a camera:
- converging lens with fixed focus
- focus achieved by varying the lens' position (moving it back and forth)
- image focussed onto a CCD
- brightness controlled by aperture and diaphragm.

BOTH FORM A REAL, INVERTED AND DIMINSHED IMAGE!
