Why should giving them higher grades make them more likely to take a subject onto a higher level? They should have left the grades how they were and let the girls choose what they wanted to do. All it has done is pushed more girls into science which seems like all we are focused on at the moment in science.
Yes it's certainly interesting but it's pushed them into a career they may never have initially wanted
