I'm doing this exam in May and the topics I'm doing are Statutory Interpretation, Delegated Legislation and Criminal Courts and Lay people

For Criminal Courts and Lay people I know that I need to know:
    Type of offences
    Cases in the Magistrates
    Cases in the Crown Court
    Appointment and selection of magistrates
    Training of magistrates
    Role of magistrates
    Removal of magistrates
    Ads and Disads of magistrates
    Appointment of juries
    Disqualification, Deferral, Excusal
    Role of juries
    Ads and disads of juries

But I'm so confused on the Criminal court stuff. I don't understand the outline of criminal courts and appeal system, including the classification of offences at all? How would that come up in a Q?... How would I answer it? Does anyone know?
