it's just as susceptible to infection as any other piercing though, right? Surely the risk of it going wrong outweighs the reward?

Yeah true - you have to be a certain amount of hardcore for it like if you've had a lot done then I guess this piercings just next on the list.

I wouldn't mind having one down there but I had to rip my cartilage piercing out from the back of my ear after skin started growing on it so guess I'll stay away from piercings for a while 👍🏾

Well apparently genitals heal fast, so that'd increase the risk of skin growing over the piercing

Agreed. That's why bud. Why get nipple piercings? Same reason, especially for women who have more sensitive nipples than males.

Also true but if you get it done with a really trusted specialist (who doesn't put the wrong size hoop/ captive ring in fml) it should be fine
Nah I don't find them sexy at all, mainly because I find piercings of anything that's not proper skin highly aversive; nipples I'm not too keen on either. And also because I think piercings are sexy when they highlight aesthetically pleasing parts of the body and that doesn't include parts which are a bit grim-looking but used for sex.

Nipples, naval and nose. Well, I dunno how aesthetically pleasing the nose is. It sure can be! And it's right in the middle of the face, so it totally works. Although I prefer nasal studs to rings. More visible piercings elsewhere.

It makes the area far more sensitive to touch, so as well as making it more fun in general, some women who find it hard to orgasm find a piercing helps give them a 'boost'. Also, loads of people just think it's a turn on to look at/touch.

Nipples I would find more acceptable on guys but no, not one of my things. I love navel piercings and nose rings though, I think they're pretty much the best on girls. Not really keen on nose studs (boring). Used to love hip piercings (and I find hips really sexy) but nowadays it is a bit 16 year old emo. Those collar bone ones are pretty hot and certain facial piercings can look good on certain girls. Lip piercings I quite like too, on one side only.

With guys I would say stud earrings, eyebrow, lip, navel works if they are really hot and a bit more obviously "gay".
