Hello, I am an international student applying to the UK and have no idea which uni to choose, I could really use the help.. Please don't ignore.

I applied to these universities and got offers from each:

University of Exeter: BA Management with Marketing - AAB
University of Birmingham: Bsc Business Management with Marketing - AAB
Durham University: BA Marketing - AAB
Lancaster University: Bsc Marketing - AAB
University of Liverpool: BA Management with Marketing - ABB

Because of the grades, I guess Liverpool would be my backup, but what do I choose as my first choice? No bias please!

Thanks in advance.

It would seem Durham is higher on the buisness league tables. And is generally higher on overall league tables (these matter less though).

Above are 2 buisness specific league table sources, check out more if you value league tables a lot.

I would say (as a university of birmingham student) go to UoB. I'm bias obviously, but it is brilliant and you'll have an awesome time.

If you highly value league tables and technical what uni is better than another uni stuff - go Durham. But them both being russel group universities, you will be very employable at either of them.

If you want to have the best time, (which you might have at any of those universities), university of birmingham is great. It has an amazing balance of being a campus university with really nice accomodation on The Vale Village etc. and a really nice campus .... with an EPIC city, 2nd biggest in the UK with everything you could want in a city including some of the best nightlife in the UK. If you care about clubbing, going out nightlife etc at all, then birmingham destroys Durham no competition.

I'm sure Durham is nice too though.

Other decisions... course content. Bear in mind a course of "marketing" might have very different day-to-day content than "buisness management", maybe it will be extremely similar. So check out the module content on the university websites, to see if you like any course over another.

So yeah... league tables & unistats information for academic/career prospect information. If you wanna know about student life/societies or anything ask some students in the specific uni forums.

Use unistats for info like that it's good.
