Artificial Intelligence q

Hi!

I'm a Y11 student and I'm interested in applying in a couple of years to Edinburgh to either the Cognitive Science, Artificial Intelligence or Artificial Intelligence with Mathematics courses. My IB choices are:

HL Maths
HL Physics
HL History

SL English Lit
SL Spanish B
SL Chemistry

My question is would this be enough to get me into any of these courses or would I need prior programming experience? (I really want to learn but I have another, quite big extracurricular commitment that I can't give up and that I love which means I won't have time.)

Thanks so much!

Best,
R
Those are definitely enough! Year of entry however may have to be Year 1, a friend of mine has the grades but has to go into Year 1 for compsci so he can formally learn programming and code. (St Andrews mind)

Thanks very much- but what would the year of entry normally be?

Depends on your qualifications, because Scotland works differently their degrees are a year longer if they apply when they can.

You can apply for second year with your qualifications, and if need be they can just give you an offer for first year.
