@live.co.uk e-mail account!

Some people here might be interested in this... just registered myself a new @live.co.uk e-mail... guess what it is..

1) Go here.
2) Click "Get started", under "Use a domain I already own" enter any domain you like.
3) Select "Create a new Windows Live ID in your domain".
4) Select View > Page Style > No Style. Ta-dah! The input box was hidden using CSS!
5) Select @live.com from the dropdown.
6) Select "Create a Windows Live e-mail address" and continue the registration.

Get one while you still can!

Lofty

I just put in a domain i own and then it was saying that if i click continue it will make me the administrator of that domain  What has Live got to do with my domain?

I think we can leave that bit out, now if you go to hotmail.com - it should recognise your new address

Also, use a proxy and you can get @live.com

For anyone that's interested - Microsoft will give you a free custom domain and email accounts under it with Live Mail.

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/officelive/default.aspx

Just sign up for the Live Basics service (you need to use a card for authentication, no money is debited), and you can have exactly what you want. I like it better than having @hotmail.com or @live.com.

What do you mean? When styling is removed, remember to select create new windows live id. Also, if the error is that it is unable to check the availability of the address, keep trying. It works eventually.

I just tried this link and it worked for an @ live.co.uk email addy

I prefer not having my name in my e-mail address for the sake of privacy. But a shorter address is always nice.
i tried a couple of combos but they are taken apparently.

ill stick with gmail then!
