I'm 49 and after 33 years away from education I'm starting a part time Masters. I'm commuting from Southampton so won't be around much, but to say I'm nervous would be an understatement.

Glad to hear I'm not the oldest student in town!

I will be 45 nearly 46 when I start and I can’t wait. I’ve been given a second chance at education and it’s the best thing I have ever done. Good luck x

Hey guys,

I just wondered if there were any other mature students starting in September?

Although i'm extremely excited about starting i'm also really nervous about being much older (27) than the young'uns starting uni this year.

I just wondered if anyone else was in the same boat? It would be good to get to know some other people :smile:
