# Statistics problem

What's up guys.
I'm not preparing for STEP, but I am facing a question of Statistics some of you might have covered? I basically get the question right, but when testing my hypothesis, I am using the wrong degree of freedom from the table of values. Can anyone tell me what you'd say the degree of freedom for this q is? My value of chi-square is 2.11 (which is correct), but when comparing it to the tabular value, the mark scheme says it should be compared to v_(1,90%), yet I'm using v_(2,90%)

For a goodness of fit test, you use n-p-1 degrees of freedom where n=number of categories (4 as in you have 4 options for number faulty) and p is the number of parameters you have to estimate (1 as in if you had bin(n,p) you've estimated the p value). So I think it should be 4-1-2=2 degrees of freedom.
