I'm doing option D - Civil Rights and USA in Asia

My teacher comments are not at all consistent and sometimes his markings are just horrible

Can someone give me some advice on how to write an A grade essay or a same of an A grade essay?

Im doing civil rights too!
i always get 24/30 which I know is not great, but for me it's a big achievement.
thats what I need to get to secure an A anyways.

introduction
you have to get the key words from the question and explain them briefly

paraggraphs
you have to have a paragraph for and against if it's a 'to what extent' question

so, you have to start with On one hand,
and then give your points
always link back to the question at the end
dont go out of the time frame they have given you
even though it may say 1945 to 1955, don't mention the Montgomery bus boycott

you also have to say for example, 'I believe the Selma campaign was the most important factor for improving the lives of African Americans...'...
And you have to say, what the least most important factor is.

Pin your conclusion, start with this forumla

despite ABC, overall I believe DEF
