Hello,

I've been offered places for primary ed at both Carmarthen and USW (City campus). I will be travelling from the Pontypridd area, either by car or bus/train. Halls are a no-no for me as I have a young family.

What I was wondering, is there any advice anyone could offer me about the best travel options to both unis, please? AA routefinder says that to drive to Carmarthen, it will take me just under an hour. Newport is far closer by car, but it took me nearly 2 hours by 2 buses to get to my interview yesterday....not something I could cope with every day as I'm travel sick at the best of times!!

I'd be really greatful if anyone could offer me travel advice, bus or train times/numbers etc and the best connections to save time!!

Many thanks in anticipation! x
