Early release from prison -TOR LAW

he problem case is:
"Anna, a prisoner, is informed by her solicitor thar the has the chanse to obtain early release from prison and that the managed to secure her accountancy work at his firm. Unfortunately there is some confusion at the parole hearing, when the senior prison office called to give evidence on Anna's behaviour, confeuses Anna with another, much more violent and aggressive prisoner and so makes a number od incorrect statements about her character. The parole hearing board accordingly rejects Anna's application and recommend that she remain in prison for the duration of her sentence. Anna distraught, attempts to commit suicide."
Can we talk here about pure economic loss and nervous shock to Anna? What kind of tort will fit here? And what about the solicitor? He wanted to employ Anna, which, by the mistake of the prison, is impossible now, loss is also by his side I think...
