I think we're going to be given a set of various themes to analyse the texts with such as feminism. I've seen that other students have been given titles like 'aspects of gothic literature.' so I guess it's a broad choice

Okaay - do you have an idea about what theme you might do? Is there something you're particularly interested in?
Things like feminism are interesting - you could look at books like Margaret Atwood's "The Handmaid's Tale"

I'm open to any ideas as I've read a few classics that could be useful, I just wanted to hear what other people have chosen too Oh yeah I've heard a lot about Margaret Atwood's work. Thank you very much!

For my A2 coursework, my theme was the corruption of morality. Our set texts were Othello, Enduring Love and Wuthering Heights. I couldn't stand Wuthering Heights, so I decided to choose The Picture of Dorian Gray. Such a way better choice!!
