grade boundaries for m3

Does anybody know the usual grade boundaries for m3....is it usualy at 75-80% for an A or is it much lower....

I'm not 100% sure but i was wondering the same thing, I'll hopefully find out tomorrow tho, so let you know

are u sure? i thought the UMS marks are scaled up according to how the people taking the exam did.....

80% is quite high seeing that m3 is a hard exam...

Oh sorry, Yes, i think it is around 70-75% for an A. Not 100% sure though.

It all depends on the hardness of the paper. I think last yr 56/75 was A in M3.Like in P3 last yr the paper was really hard so an A was like 52/75

OKAY!

found out for MEI M3...it ranges between about 37-47 (out of 60)...big range yes..depends on the difficulty of the exam that year I guess

& no - all our papers r out of 60? how many marks r on other exam boards papers??!!

For mechanics grade boundaries, got to this edexcel page and click on examiners report. FYI, m3 A boundary was 56/75 last year.
