Well, that sucks. I forgot about the May 1st UCAS deadline :т Though now I'm leaning towards making it an insurance choice anyway...
I made a similar post in the Worcester forum, actually.
Even Southampton is smaller than my hometown (Tallinn). I don't want to go anywhere too big... But even so I have a feeling that Soton will be very different in atmosphere than here. I've heard English people are much more open and friendly compared to Estonians, for one.
Worcester seems to have most things. And don't really have many specific demands anyway. I like parks and green spaces.
What are the main differences envinronment-wise? What kind of vibe does Soton have? This is the one question I really wanted to ask current students, but it sounds so vague... Most people say that Worcester has a very strong community feel and individualised approach to students. What about Southampton? I'm really interested in some of the modules there, but also worried about feeling lost in a bigger uni if there's little support.
Another concern is the fact you can't do Joint Honours. Southampton Psychology modules and some other electives sound so cool, I even considered writing them a letter asking for a course change... Is it possible to swap a minor and a major if you have a change of heart?
