Just short on credits

Hi. I'm currently doing the access course and I'm due to finish it in July. I have gained all distinction credits up to now but unfortunately today I received a pass in an assignment meaning I now have three credits at pass.the condition of my place at Salford is based on me gaining 30 distinction credits and 15 merit credits, no passes. Salford is my firm choice and I've received distinctions up until this point. What is the chance of Salford still accepting on now I have 3 credits at a pass.....
Universities are known to make higher offers to make prospective students place them as their firm choice, as they can accept whatever grades you actually get. It is at the discretion of the undergraduate admissions tutor for your course. Obviously missing it completely would likely result in the university retracting the offer but close enough is usually close enough.

Recommend this video from a Professor at Uni of Nottingham which along with my tutor is my source for what I'm saying.

I'm also an access student so I am in a similar situation to yourself!

Good luck have fun.
