Strategic Problem

I have already done a year of economics in Sofia University (that would be in Bulgaria (and that would be in eastern Europe  ) ) and I am pretty sure I want to major in Economics.

I am also quite sure that I want to take a managerial position as soon as possible after graduating from college. But I don’t think management is a good choice for a bachelor’s degree. I wonder whether I should I elaborate on this in my PS. I do not want to loose precious space trying to explain why I don’t want to study management, but I am afraid that the admission councillors will think that I will not be a dedicated economics student, or that I am confused about what I want to do.

Should I just go with smth like “I like Econ. I want to become a manager. I think econimcs will give me the background that I will need.” (Not too refined, is it? )?
Or should I write an entire paragraph about “Why Bsc Mangement is no good”?

Don't refer to why you don't wanna do Management, keep to why you do wanna do Economics... so they at least think your really passionate about the subject.
Fear not - management is a perfectly normal career path for economics students. After all, there aren't actually a great deal of jobs in economics itself. If you say you want to be a manager while applying for economics, they won't even blink at it.
