How is that Facist having know Cypriotes and Indians (i kid you not) with the same view points...I do not think imperialism was necessarily a good thing. However, the way both imperialism and the for the most part the colonies had become interrelated almost meant that they could not survive without each other. Albeit this is a crude argument, I still think it has more relevance and is more pragmatic than saying 'an argument for facism'

Not any point you made specifically, but the general gist, that things are better with some wide ranging draconian authority rather than autonomy for individual groups is the sort of thinking that underpins fascism.

Not for a second suggesting you are one, or were even advocating it, mind.
