How did you all find it? I found most quite easy though the paper was a bit strange. I knew i messed up on drawing the the displayed formula in the end because I just drew cyclohexane instead off adding bromines in.
2 series were carboxylic acid and alcohol from the litmus we could deduce that its not a carboxylic acid tom the dichromate and sulphuric acid we can deduce its a tertiary alcohol as it does not get oxidised
the litmus ---> the compound is not an acid, therefore it is not a carboxylic acid sulphuric one---> it is a tertiary alcohol as it does not get oxidised
The 2 series of organic compounds. Deduce with litmus and sulfuric acid one. And the graph we had to plot
The graph I think you just had to plot the same temperature until t=3. Then do a decrease, draw a line of best fit and use extrapolation to find max. temp. change.

Do you mean decrease as in sloping downwards or deltaT is a decrease? Because mine after 'polating was horizontal until 3, vertical down (deltaT) and sloped upwards from there

Thank God. I extrapolated mine. And the series of alcohol compounds? And dehydrating and drying agent?
carboxylic acids and alcohols. I said dehydrating agent removes an OH group which is bonded whereas a drying agent just removes water from the solution.
