The Labour party in its modern incarnation is a million miles from socialism.

you need to go to Scotland if you want to remind yourself what real socialism feels like. they practice single-kitchen socialism there.

It died when Blair took power.

It's a grand type of socialism. We've cut spending on the poor to prop up middle class freebies like a council tax freeze and free university education.

If the country wanted Socialism they would have got it with Miliband - as close to it as is possible to get in the current climate. After this crushing defeat who can expect any less than a huge shift to the right? A shift that'll be resisted furiously be the grassroots. This could be a horrid few years for the party.

Labour will rise again.
In that case Scottland must go, we have had enough of Labour's BS. Then there will be the Torries on the centre right and UKIP on the right proper (and further towards the libertarian end). No more vile left and British politics should cease to be such a pain in the arse

Britain is one of the most socialist countries on earth.

'Free' health care.

'Free' education.

'Free' money.

'Free' housing.

This is not going to change under Conservative government.
