Fast Track GCSE

I am a mature student and want to get back into education but the course I really want requires english and ict gcse's which I do not have. I have looked around and the best I can get is functional skills english and ecdl which I believe covers gcses but I am not sure the course will accept that. IF I do them both will they be valid? Is there any other way to fasttrack (like over next few months) these courses? Thanks in advance.

I don't know if functional skills will be accepted and it's best to ask the centre that requires GCSE English and ICT.

You could take IGCSEs in November but that may be too late for you.

They said possibly not so that is why I am asking if any other ways like a summer crash course for example
