My parents often try & blackmail & guilt trip me, urgh wanna move out! watch

This is something that my parents try on me & it's just so annoying when they do. Like my dad says I'll off the internet connection, your laptop & stuff. I have nearly £4k in my bank account but is that really enough to move out? Plus I want to study a counselling course & I think I have to part-fund that myself & my job at the moment isn't great pay at all.

If they can just back off for a bit longer until I've built up some more wealth then that would be great :yy: For now though, it's just really upsetting how controlling/unreasonably they can actually be, bad times indeed...

is there a reason why they guilt trip/ blackmail you? my parents do this to me when i slack with my chores. they say i have to 'earn my keep' when i do most of the chores and i dont pay rent, because i dont work!

    "off the internet connection"

£4k is more than enough. I started living on my own with few hundred quid only and no job at the beginning.

£4k should be enough. Of course, it depends whether you need to furnish the place and what you need to pay for in advance.

To be honest, I really dislike my mum when she shouts at me nearly all the time - she shouts at me for little things and I hate that! I told her of how I feel and she knows so she didn't shout a lot at me for a week or so then again she start doing it! I kind of had enough but I want to move out but I have no money so there is no chance for me moving out even thou I would love to! Sometimes I just cry because she is being harsh on me, we do have our good times and I really love that but when she starts shouting I feel down and depressed!! Plus I don't have a dad but that doesn't really matter. I don't know what to do.
