What do you mean by youth culture, like the subculture of youths in the society from stereotypical understanding or behaviour of youths in the society?

depends on how you want to see this
For youths;
- in the society they are protected by laws and given primary + secondary socialisation so that they have value concensus and furthermore form social solidarity
- through formal control (e.g the police) controls their actions and hence youth have a set og boundaries
- through informal control (e.g friends) they again form social solidarity
^ can be challenged as they might have negative influence on eachothef

- youth subcultures can be fromed due to the inequality between middle class and working class pupils
^ for example in schools, the underachieving working class pupils are likely to get bullied and feel isolated therefore from anti-school subculture, whereas middle class would be the opposite
- in society; those youths who suffer from material deprivation and cultural deprivation will merge in with people alike them in comparison to the middle class
^ those with cultural deprivation have not gained the effective socialitions, therefore their attitudes towards adult authority may be obedient

- the increase in TV culture and rapid changes in technology means that youths are exposed to a lot more, such as sex, drugs.. etc, which breaks open their innocence and start behaving like adults mentally even though they are biologically immature

??? idk if this helps, but there you go

im not too sure
but thoroughly revise education policies and ethnic differences in educational achievement, i have a feeling this might come up
but also revise the other little things like functionalist,marxist view on education and all that

with research methods just remember some research and the types of experiments
althought if you know much about methods in context- could you explain that to me please?

no problem!
