What facts and figure do we need to know for F211, could someone possibly list a few of them, Im thinking of all of the ones to do with the early part of the course eg magnification and resolution of the microscopes, size and diameters of the organelles and prokaryote + eukaryote cell size ect

Light microscope
Magnification- x2500
Resolution-100nm
Scanning Electron Microscope
Magnification- x100,000Resolution-5nm
Transmission Electron Microscope
Magnification- x 500,000Resolution-0.1nm
For prokaryotic and eukaryotic, in terms of size I think you just need to know that the ribosomes are smaller,18nm in prokaryotic and larger, 22nm in eukaryotic
