Same, my mock was alright but I made the mistake of writing about technical theatre instead of acting, so I'm learning to focus my writing more.

I'm from the East of England

which spec are you doing within history? I've got aspects of international relations + USA 1919-45, and my depth study is Britain 45-75, are you the same?
Also, are you doing the practical or alternative to practical science exams? if it's the latter, how did you find biology and physics?

    Hi

    We're doing USA 1919 - 1945 aswell, but I'm doing Britain early 1900s - 1918
For my coursework I did Gustav Stressemann and Germany

Alt to prac exams, and I was over the moon with physics, but for Biology I was really disappointed about how nothing I'd revised was in the test.

    How did you find them?

well, for my history coursework we did hitler's consolidation of power, got 44/50 so very pleased, for the physics there's a couple of mistakes i know i made, but nothing major, finished it within 20 minutes. the biology, little less happy with it (no food tests???!!!??) but still pretty pleased overall.

Back to history, do you have any trouble iwth the "How far..." questions? sometimes they're okay but then there's that evil one that pops up every now and again...

Well done my teacher didn't tell us our grades, just said what grade we were in reach of overall.

I had so much time in the Physics exam, same here with the ray box question and the oscillations questions.
With the biology, I think everyone was annoyed about the lack of topics (pH and Heart rate), and the fact that they hadn't appeared before so no one revised them. I have the food tests, every invertebrate group and structures of plants and specialist cells engraved into my head now forever, I'd be annoyed if I wasn't doing A level Biology now.

Sometimes, it depends on the context though. "How far do you agree with this" is relatively alright, just agree, disagree, conclusion.
Yes, especially if it's the last question in the British Depth study... I somehow mess that question up a lot

i tend to do pretty well with the stuff on britain, because most of it is just regurgitating dates for the different divorce acts etc. for me, but i struggle with some of the dayes for america, which is kinda important :/

All of mine are very set periods, 1919-45 usa, Cold War 45-49, Cuban missile crisis 61 and the Vietnam war, so all very limited, so 500 years must be a lot to remember for one thing, no?

You're more likely to get a response from people if you quote them. At the bottom of the post you want to respond to, press the +" symbol, and the other person will get a notification saying that you are talking to them :yep: . People don't often check back to see whether you have responded without quoting
