Basically, I have an economics exam on Monday morning - I feel I'm very well prepared for it. On the same day, my sister has court (sentencing) for which she may well serve prison time. It has been playing on my mind all weekend, and may well do in my exam also. I was told to make the invigilators or somebody aware, but is there really any reason to?

I only posted here as only place I could think of to anon.

    Thanks.

Yes. They will decide if they need to tell the exam board.

I would let them know because you may be able to get special consideration for family troubles, you have nothing to lose by telling them.
