I started Cerelle over a month ago and started spotting one week in. This really bothered me so I stopped the pill over a week ago yet I'm still spotting. Is this normal? I know spotting whilst taking it is very very common but can't find anything about it happening once you've stopped it.

Hey. I was on for around 6 weeks when I first started taking it, then it stopped and I haven't had anything at all for 2-3 years now! Everyone reacts differently though. Contraception pills take a while for your body to adjust to, so it's the same when you stop taking them. If it's still an issue after a month then go back to the doctors and ask .

It's normal - you don't have a break on this pill. Some people have a tiny one, others spot and a lot have nothing.

I'm having the same problem. The first day I started taking it I started spotting then that turned into pure blood, that lasted for 8 days then I stopped for 6 days and started again and that lasted for 2 weeks I stopped bleeding 2 days ago and this morning I've started to get brown spotting
