# Help with binomial and rate of change please asap! watch

1. Hey,

I really need help with two topics.

Binomial expansion when x is a fraction e.g. (1+x/4)^8 find in ascending powers of x the first 5 terms and simplify. I can expand it, but I struggle to simplify. Also when it says the first 5 terms, considering the first bit of 1^8 is a term, does that mean i stop when I reach x^7? If someone could do this question please.

Rate of change with a hemisphere, a bowl is being filled up at a constant rate of ** find *** , haven't got any examples of questions, but I guess it will ask show that the volume, V is = ***** or area, A is = ****** , then it may say show that DR/DT is = **** when r = ** , I just made this up but I assume it will be something similar to this.
2. I think it may look something like this. My teacher just said there is a rate of change question with a bowl/hemisphere

a) water is being poured into a bowl at a constant rate of 2cm^3 per second, at a time t, the radius is r, and the volume is V, show that V = **** and find dv/dr.

b)use the results from part a) to show that dr/dt=*** when r=2
