    Can anyone tell me / give me an overview of the economics of housing and what we would need to know if a housing question came up on the extract. I have looked around but can't find much. Analysis points, demand and supply factors and evaluation points Any help would be very much appreciated!! Can someone please help me as the exam is tomorrow:confused:

    I take it AQA Econ 1 tomorrow?

    - Rent control: Maximum pricing
    - Maybe no incentive for landlords so buildings could go into disrepair

    - Where to build housing: Brownfield/Greenfield (Negative externalities)

    - Infrastructure improvements (labour mobility, more efficient and productive workforce)

    - Relocation to other parts of country as cheaper housing (reluctant due to family ties etc)

    These are some very simple points which with data could be evaluated into a full blown 25 marker.

    There was a question on housing in an older paper, I think it was one of the 2009 papers, take a look at that.
