Hi, I'm doing English Literature and I was wondering whether somebody had a clear structure for writing literature essays they could give my? My main target in writing is structure to make sure I include all points in a cohesive way, and would appreciate any help! Thank you

For the mock, i've come up with this structure after watching many videos on gcse of mice and men, but u can use it for other books that u've studied.

i'd start of answering the question directly
make my first point, quote it (this should be through out the essay)
talk about context, the time period of it basically
refer back to the author and why they've included these things in the novel
effect it has on readers (which in this case is you, but you can use ''we feel'' )
    conclusion

For the essay in my mock, i got 18/20 and overall got an A* in literature mock
