All my friends just drink ALL the time? Watch

I'm 22 and this is about my friends who are 22-26 years old, working good jobs and earning a decent wage in London.

Now don't get me wrong, I love having a few drinks with my friends. I also like getting drunk and being silly sometimes. However what I don't understand is some of my friends/flatmates who go out drinking all day long on the weekend, from Friday where they get stupidly drunk, starting Saturday daytime to 'cure the hangover,' and then repeating for Sunday. Then going out once or twice during the week and when they do, still have one or two beers when they come home.

I had a drinks Friday night with them, wine over dinner yesterday, and joined them for 1 pint at the pub today at midday but left because their plans for today were going a pub crawl and then drinking all night in the pub.

How the hell is this in any way 'living the dream?' I went home at around 3 and they've been drinking since 1. We were meant to be cooking roast together but they're wasted and still out drinking and I'm not starting to cook a roast for them at 7pm.

I don't know if I'm being judgemental but I think it's a waste of money and time. There is no way I would spend 50 quid getting drunk in a pub when I could do it for less than a tenner at home, with the same company and decent surroundings. I also want to do more with my day- explore the city, go do some activities.

This is a bit of a rant ha. They used to be so fun and wanted to see the city and explore and travel and now all they do is drink. I'm really sad to have seen this happen to my friends whose company I loved.

    Bump?

They've just come home now and I'm helping them to bed because they're paralytic.
