Honestly, I can't sum it up. What is a simple explanation of a Postmodernist?

Really? Lol. 25 hours until the exam and you're asking now?

Briefly, Postmodernism is more of a criticism of other theories. It favours diversity and progression and encourages liberalism and overall freedom. Most Postmodernists argue that there is no metanarrative of how life should be, and dismiss most traditional norms and values, particularly those instilled in functionalists and new rights activists.

Anthony Giddens
Jeffery Weeks
Judith Stacey


It'd be helpful if you had a textbook to guide you through the theories. It can get complicated.
