Went through a long and messy breakup with my ex , he dumped me but couldn't quite let go so my feelings were played with big style . Last convo was him telling me to *** off and I told him never to try and contact me . Ever. trouble is I didn't mean it the hurt was talking and I still love him. Would it be wrong to wish him a happy birthday it's in a few days and can't accept I won't be there with him or would it be a bad move. Don't know

It's better not to make any contact with him, since it would open up healed wounds.

If you're sorry for what you said then you might as well wish him happy birthday
