I was just wondering whether the examiner would mark, or see, the things you write around or below the lines for writing, so long as it is still inside the box. As in, you're given a few lines to write your answer, but you don't fit it all in so you write below just below the lines, but still inside the box, will they count that??
Thank you so much! Good luck with all your exams!

Yes everything inside the box will get marked! You can add little workings, scribbles and anything you like within the box. If you don't want something to be marked, simply put a line through it. If your page gets cluttered which it may make sure the examiner can clearly see what and where the answer is. If you have workings along with your answer maybe put a circle round the workings & put 'notes' or 'working out'.

I'm not sure in AQA but i know Edexcel examiners only see the space provided for the question they're marking.

If in any doubt ask an invigilator for extra paper and they will provide it for you. It depends on the exam really but I understand what you mean, especially 6 mark questions in science (I never seem to have enough space :P).
Hope this helps.
