I have gone into shock have never been through something so traumatic I was screaming for help, the other dog had it's teeth into her neck and wasn't letting go it took my mum and me to get her away and now she is on way to vets as her neck is all cut open her squeeling sounds were insane I feel so traumatised by this. She is close to death and I understand the animal kingdom is like this but even when we were dragging the other dog away it still went to kill her it was near impossible to get it's teeth out of her neck.
I am just venting as I feel totally sick and near fainting

Unfortunately not all animal behaviour is understood. I too have seen many good natured dogs just flip.

I guess it's the same as people.

You should euthanize it; next time it could be a child.

We tend to agree with you. This unpredictability is terrifying.
