Hi I'm a private candidate, sitting some A Levels this year so I get to choose what modules I get to sit. I'm having difficulty in terms of what I should focus revising on because I only need certain marks to get into my firm choice uni. I'm hoping you guys can give me some advice/suggestions about what I should do.

I need ABB to get into King's for Biochemistry, and I'm aiming to get the A/A* in Maths which I'm fine and well on my way for.

For Chemistry I got an A (almost full UMS) at AS Level, and need 183 UMS to get an A which is all I need. I've already done the EMPA last year, and I'd need an average of 64% on Unit 4 and 5 to get the A overall. I did Unit 5 last year and did terribly (57 UMS), but I still actually have the choice of doing Unit 4 on its own and get 80% in the exam to get the grade. Should I revise for both where my average is lower or focus my efforts entirely on Unit 4 to save me revising Unit 5?

For Bio I can either sit both Unit 2 and 4, or just Unit 4 to get the B. If I do both I need an average of 70% but if I just do Unit 4 I need 74% to get the grade.

I guess what this boils down is to whether in my situation where I'm still revising, should I focus all my efforts on one exam and attempt to get higher marks, or split my focus into revising for 2 exams?

    Thanks.
