    1. Firstly, we think that it is fine to destroy the environment, by spraying crops, and overusing natural resources etc...
    2. We also think we are smarter than nature because we want to mess with nature and think that it is Ok e.g:genetic engineering.
    3. We think that there is no consequences in destroying the whole planet
    4. We don't know that the more we turn against nature the more nature turns against us.
    5. We don't know how to stop destroying nature whereas animals are a part of the ecosystem and don't do any harm to nature.
    6. We think that we can do what we want to the planet without consequences and experiment on it as much as we want.
    7. We think it is fine to play God
    8. We are making other animals extinct

We are more intelligent than animals. Just look around at what humans have achieved in such a short amount of time.

Many of those are just down to our folly and apathetic nature, not because we're genuinely less intelligent than other animals. It is not even in dispute that we are the most intelligent organisms on the planet by a long, long stretch.

What do you want us to do then?

Start behaving like animals and rehabilitating ourselves into the wild.

If we went back to living purely and in nature then the world would probably be in a much better state than it is now. But such a proposition isn't really realistic.

By claiming that humans don't know these things, that implies that you know these things.

Therefore, humans know these things. So, logically, we're quite smart.

Would also shorten our lifespans, if we went completely back into nature where the 'ell do we get the agricultural tools from?

People who look down at humans and their achievements piss me off lol. They like to look down on others and not recognise people who have achieved great things.

But not smart enough to stop what we are doing...

Its not about going back to nature, its about stopping destroying nature

This isn't an issue of intelligence, it's an issue of apathy and desire. We have all the means and know-how to stop world hunger, provide everyone with water and stop the systematic destruction of our environment. It's just that we care more about profits and short term benefits. We're short-sighted, but not stupid.

Animals breed regardless of the impact they have on the environment: humans are at least somewhat different in that they have the knowledge to know this.

I didn't say going back to nature meant abandoning our tools and technology.

But if we were clever we would not be short-sighted and would not look at the short term benefits only.

Whart I showed you doesn't make humans any better, in the same way rgar what you showed us doesn't make us any worse. We are terrible, yes, but if you want to be a better living being then go out and plant a tree and don't use the interwebz for a long time

Not necessarily. As well as rational beings, we're also driven by the primal instincts of pleasure and greed, and these can very often not make us care about the effects of our actions on the environment.
