I am currently a year 12 student (currently taking as exams) looking to do veterinary science at uni after year 13. However to do so I need many weeks of work experience to meet the requirement. Yet i only have 2 weeks of external work experience at a farm. Knowing that it is vital for work experience, is worth taking a gap year and pursuing 12 months work experience and possibly volunteering abroad?
