Well i used to get invited to many parties back in primary and now i'm in secondary it hasn't happened at all and i'm starting to get jealous of my friend because he's talking to more girls and he get's to go to 'raves' I've been invited to one but i'm never able to go and i don't know why but it's a bit depressing seeing my social life plummet whilst my other friends are having fun. I know i should be studying but i can't stop thinking about it.

From personal experience in high school, if you don't go to the "first" thing it's harder to get invited to the rest. I was so shy in school that I would never go to parties and as a result I got left out, even now when I'm older and a lot more confident I still often don't get invited places simply because people assume I'm still that shy kid.

It's tough, but I would put yourself out there as much as possible! Even ask your friend if you can go along with him?

i can assure you, 'raving' under some bridge in greater manchester isnt fun, im assuming its illegal because you're not of age to get into one haha. just remember when you do go to a party to not get so drunk you end up chundering everywhere and being a burden cause you'll not get invited again, just be fun and cheery when you do go to one
