# C1 Soloman Differentiation questions help puhleasee :3 watch

1. (Original post by Aph)
Is that after differentiation?
Then when differentiated

dy/dx= 1/3x^1/2 - x^-1/2 + 1/2x^-3/2

EDIT:

dy/dx = 1/2x^1/2 - x^-1/2 + 1/2x^-3/2
2. (Original post by Dinaa)
Then when differentiated

dy/dx= 1/3x^1/2 - x^-1/2 + 1/2x^-3/2
You differentiated incorrectly.

That's correct. Now what do you want to do?

That's correct. Now what do you want to do?
Express in the form (x+a)^2/(bx^3/2)

find a and b

Express in the form (x+a)^2/(bx^3/2)

find a and b
So... Do it
7. (Original post by Aph)

You got the differential right, you just need to use that.

If the end answer is being divided by something, what does that mean you must have done at some point
