Just a quick question, the essay question talked about ''does a subsidy always correct market failure''.
In my answer I basically talked about a previous Unit 1 essay question Jan 2013 (Housing). Talked about how subsidy corrects the shortage of houses by increasing supply.

At the time I though this question was a gift, but I was wondering would they mark you down for using a past economics answer?

There is another thread for F581 that you could use instead. As long as you refer to how it reduces market failure it should be fine. The question you are referring to focuses on reducing shortages but does not refer to market failure so it is slightly different.
