    Hi everyone

I just finished my AS economics unit1 yesterday and is not very sure about my result. I think I may get a C. I'm currently doing double Maths, Chemistry, Biology and Economics, and I think I am going to study Biochemistry or Medicine in uni. Is it possible to hide Economics on my UCAS form?

No, I think you need to show all of your AS results, I even had to put down a half gcse in PR I did in year 9 on my UCAS

yes, depending on your school/college's "cashing in" policy you would be able to simply put the subjects you take on your ucas form without the grade, and as long as your personal statement is up to scratch then this would not hinder your application (speaking from personal experience with 4/5 offers recieved without stating any grades on ucas)

You dont need to but Top Unis will not mind as much as you think. Cambridge only ask look for 90% (in reality its closer to 94) average UMS from your best 3. for your interview. My UCL offer was A*A*AE + or A*AAE + 1 in STEP or Distinction in AEA, my warwick offer which is my firm only asks for A*A*A + 2 in STEP or A*AA + 1 in STEP. I did the same exam as you did but im doing it at A2 aswell, our school does AS and A2 at the end of 2 years so I think my 4th subject Econ im screwed. They might not mind but then again you are applying for medicine which is uber competitive so I am not sure. Chances are it does not matter that much, but try and absolutely destroy your macro exam on tuesday.

You have to put all of your results on your UCAS as they can remove your application but dont worry about the C anyway thats good. I had to put an E in Maths down...
