I'm doing AQA Unit 4 biology next month and I'm currently going through past papers. I finished revising the content, but I'm really struggling to apply lots of it in the exam questions, especially for How Science Works and data analysis (particularly the 'explain' questions).

Whenever I answer questions I think I've answered it correctly to what the context may be, but upon checking the mark scheme they always want something else and my stuff is irrelevant. My exam technique is so poor.

How do I improve all of this and learn what content I should relate questions to?
