Hi, I'm family new to the site and I've got my English literature higher gcse exam with aqa on Monday ,so was wandering if you could answer following

1- your predictions as to what will come up in the poems (I'm doing character and voice
2- what you think the inspector calls/of mice and men question will be on

I do Edexcel English, however from my experience I think that poems are unseen, so you don't really know until you get into the exam, however your teacher should have gone through poems with you by the writers that are in the spec.

For English Lit, questions are usually about the themes of the novel. Try not to get it confused with English Language, where you are often asked about characters and "feelings" but these must be related to the language rather than the plot.

    Good Luck!

I'm doing Lord of the flies so have no idea what might happen on an inspector calls, but I think my teacher said it's likely to be about Curley as he hasn't appeared yet in an exam!
