That's in C2 if you're sitting with the ocr exam board
this is the way i do binomial expansion
    e.g expand (2x+5)^4
    1((2x)^4 x 5^0) + 4((2x)^3 x 5^1) + 6((2x)^2 x 5^2) + 4((2x)^1 x 5^3) + 1((2x)^0 x 5^4) (and then simplify)
    - do the first term to the power of whatever the power is and the second term to the power of 0
    - decrease the value of the first term power by one whilst increasing the value of the power of the second term
    - the powers should always add up to the original power, in this case 4
    - the numbers at the front you get by pressing the nCr button on a calculator e.g to get the first number you do 4C0, which is one (4C1, 4C2, 4C3, 4C4)

i think i may of just confused you even more but i hope this helps

I'm doing OCR MEI Core 1, which has binomial expansion. This helped a lot actually, thank you very much!
