    Hi,

I was thinking of starting fresh with new topics and new exam boards, with a 1 year A level intensive course. GCSES ARE 6B'S 4C'S. A levels CDD. I want to study History, Politics and Sociology, wanting 3 A's to study history or law at uni, with the aim of being a city lawyer, am i being unrealistic?

Have you already done A2? It is possible to get from CDD to AAA and then get into a good course or good university.

You can be a city lawyer without going through uni, a few law firms and solicitors where I live do a kind of 'apprenticeship' whereby you work in the office with them and learn what you're supposed to be doing, at the end of it you can become a paralegal which isn't quite a lawyer/solicitor but it's a great start! Also many of them don't actually require A-levels, just good GCSE's mainly in English! Maybe something to have a look into? x
