    I have been told by my teacher that the highest grade is a b for a foundation paper but need to know wether this is true or not need to know urgently as my exam is on the 18 may 2015 and wether i can change to higher if i wish

    Hi, the max you can get on an individual paper is a C grade. Then once all the papers have been sat, the UMS are added up... And then you have a chance to get a B

    what does UMS stand for because i am actually doing the paper early in year 10 and also is there a chance if i request my teacher if i want to do higher or not

    you will not be able to change the paper so soon before the exam as you date for changes is early march, so sorry, but try youre best. dont miss it though still counts as a grade

    but i have the ability to get a higher grade and our teacher specifically said that you can get a Grade B but look like she was chatting it so i will definitely speak to her to try to do something
