    Hi.

Quick question, on the entry requirement pages of some universities I have been looking at for access to HE diploma's (which is what I have), it states :

Overall pass (must include 45 credits at Level 3, of which 30 credits must be at Distinction and 15 credits at Merit or higher)

My Access Certificate looks like this:

    English Lit 1 9 Credits
    English Lit 2 9 Credits
    English Lang 1 9 Credits
    English Lang 2 9 Credits
    Psychology 1 6 Credits
    Psychology 2 6 Credits
    Toolbox 6 Credits

Now, would said grades be sufficient, given that a lot of Uni's want 30 at Distinction, but the 15 at Merit (or higher), and I have 36 at Distinction, but the remaining 18 I have at pass. Has anyone had trouble with gaining entry into desired uni on grades similar to these?

    Thank you.

This is a very specific question which only the universities you are interested in can really answer with any authority. We on here could only guess and tell anecdotes which may be irrelevant to your experience, I'm afraid.

it's best to ask the uni. but from what you said it looks like you don't have the right grades for entry as they ask for 30 D which you have, but also they want 15 M or above which you only have 6, the rest are passes so technically you don't meet the requirements, but you never know what might happen unless you ask the uni directly

    Thank you for your reply.

I have emailed Kent (doubtful, as they are a fantastic option), Brighton, Leeds and Sheffield.

If I would be considered, it would be by the 'skin of my teeth', I guess.

Also, I have no GCSE Mathematics, so application will be tough. I may have to do a nightly GCSE Course.
