Conservatives. You Reap What You Sow.

Regardless of what it means today, it is clearly shifting in that direction. The Conservatives have realised that these next 5 years are going to be incredibly difficult for them to keep any favourability amongst the electorate. Thus they must find ways to ensure, or at least increase the likelihood, of winning the next election.

I think they will do a good job. That's why I voted for them.

Why is it so difficult to see the bigger picture?

Even if this endless "war" on militant Islam ends, by that time, we will be chained up to the extent that we will have forgotten what it is to be free.

How are we chained up, exactly? Are you an Islamist?

It obviously means overthrowing the process of democracy.

Don't be ridiculous and jump to unrealistic extremes...

You guys are just as brainwashed as religious people.

Is there even a limit to what David Cameron can do to you, that you won't be pleased with?

If he tries to take my guns away he has another coming. But he won't even try.

I'm asking you how are we chained up? Can you not answer a simple question?

To begin with I was speaking in future tense, which means that I was referring to something that will happen in the future. Following?

So when I said, "you will be chained up", I was referring to the process of imprisonment which we are apparently going through. The first stage of which involved stripping us of our privacy, and from David Camerons words today, further limiting our speech.

But seriously though. The mention of Islam incites a reactionary response of fear and mistrust. I simply mentioned Islam and you jumped to the conclusion that I was a militant muslim.

The privacy of Islamists is not a good thing.

How is our speech limited, other than that we can't express pro-Islamist sentiment without getting MI5 on us? Are you interested in shilling for the Islamic state? If not, how are your liberties affected?

Maybe its time to change your avatar?

What better symbol of resistance against Islamist oppression is there than solidarity with Charlie Hebdo?

Really?

Ok I'm going to quote this one last time. If you don't get it now. I'm afraid you won't get it until its far too late.

"The aim is to catch not just those who spread or incite hatred on the grounds of gender, race or religion but also those who undertake harmful activities for the “purpose of overthrowing democracy”."

What about that quote isn't admirable?

Do you think that people who oppose your fundamental liberties, deserve those same liberties to further their cause?

Yeah, something that will disappear if we let Islamists influence our society.

Take your damn tin foil hat off, you are seriously ridiculous.

The last thing the Government cares about is your midget tentacle porn.

OK I'm going to be as clear as I can.

In the future, there may come a time, when the Government takes actions that you are deeply opposed to. And when that time comes, the probability that you may not even have the right to question their decision, is increased greatly by these new laws.

No, they will increase my rights greatly because they protect my freedom to a vote from those who seek to oppress us or establish an undemocratically elected government.

Only if you mean free speech for the enemy.

What is the point in giving rights to people who explicitly want to destroy those rights?

During World War II, Britain fought for, among other things, free speech. As part of this war, it prosecuted and put in prison people who had Nazi sympathies. Was this (un)justified or hypocritical in your opinion?

How are they obtuse?

You haven't even seen the ******* act. You're basing your entire opinions on a pre-draft interview.

I hope you look back at these posts in 2018 and see how extremely ridiculous and paranoid you are.

I hope I do. At least I'll have some comfort knowing that it wasn't my fault that the UK turned to ****.

You are free to leave. There's 26 other EU-law-following countries you can go to.

How about a drawing of the 'prophet' himself?
